Chris Wade To Fight At Nassau Coliseum

LI's Wade announced on LI card

(Long Island, NY., May 2, 2017) –  Long Island’s Chris Wade won’t have to travel far for his next fight as the UFC has announced Wade will take on Frankie Perez at the newly renovated Nassau Coliseum on July 22, 2017.

Wade (11-3, 4-2 UFC), who wrestled at Islip High School and trains at Long Island MMA in Farmingdale, is coming off two straight defeats, after winning four-straight to open his UFC career.

In Wade’s last fight on September 17, 2016 on UFC Fight Night 94, he lost via unanimous decision to Islam Makhachev.

Perez (10-3, 1-2 UFC), who hails from Howell, New Jersey, is coming off a loss to Marc Diakiese at UFC Albany on December 9, 2016.

Wade joins fellow Long Islander, Gian Villante, who will fight Patrick Cummins on the UFC on Fox 25 card.
