2015-16 Monarchs Schedule Released

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, proud affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have announced their schedule for the 2015-16 season. The Monarchs will begin their first season as a member of the ECHL at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Oct. 16 against the Brampton Beast.
Manchester’s 72-game schedule will include 36 home games and 36 road games. Two of their first four games of the year will be played at home and the team will have a seven-game homestand from Nov. 13-22. View the schedule HERE.
The Monarchs’ home slate includes games against East Division foes such as the Adirondack Thunder (8 games), Elmira Jackals (5 games), Norfolk Admirals (5 games) and Reading Royals (6 games). They will also play the Brampton Beast, Greenville Road Warriors, Orlando Solar Bears, Toledo Walleye and Wheeling Nailers at the Verizon Wireless Arena throughout the year.
The Monarchs will have seven home games in November and December and will play eight home games in February and March.
Dates for the most popular themed nights have also been selected. The annual “Mullets in Movember” game will be on Nov. 14 against Toledo and will raise support for men’s cancers. The annual New Year’s Eve party will feature the Monarchs squaring off with Greenville on Dec. 31 and will be followed by indoor fireworks.
The Monarchs will honor their parent club, the LA Kings, on Jan. 16 with a Kings-themed night, including giveaways and a tribute to the Kings. The “Pink in the Rink” game returns on Feb. 6 to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and the Monarchs will pay tribute to their fans on the last home game of the regular season on Apr. 8 with Fan Appreciation Night.
In addition to their traditional promotions, the Monarchs will also feature several new promotions and themed nights to be released at a later date.
