Get 2 Know a Bobcat Tuesday: Ethan Saporito and Kelsey Thomas

In an effort to replace and update the "Day in the Life" feature of students, we will be featuring the softer (non-professional) side of all of our students throughout the fall. Each Tuesday will be "Get 2 Know a Bobcat Tuesday," and we will provide some interesting facts/tidbits about our current students.

Dream Job: VP of Corporate Sponsorships for a Pro Sports Team
About me: Right now the Copperheads are coming off another great summer of baseball. At the beginning of the offseason, we're lining up their sponsorship targets, looking at how we can improve organizationally, and bringing in the new Assistant GM (congrats Brent Miller!) and getting him up to speed. This experience is a great way for me to get acclimated to a life in corporate partnership sales. I'm getting hands-on experience prospecting potential clients, understanding their needs, developing unique solutions to highlight their brand with the Copperheads, and selling them on the benefits of associating with the team.

Kelsey Thomas
Hometown:
Northville, Mich.
Favorite TV Show: Justified
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Greece
Favorite Sports Team: Notre Dame football
Something that most people do not know about you:

Dream Job: Senior Associate AD for Development or sports marketing for a Nonprofit/Children’s Hospital
About me: In my GA with the Ohio Bobcat Club, I assist with benefit fulfillment, for example I coordinate the VIP Sideline Experience. I manage football premium level seating by ensuring all the season ticket holders in premium sections have paid their per-seat donations and are satisfied with their seat locations. I manage football parking for our donors by tracking donations through the ticketing software, NeuLion. Through these initiatives, I help drive donations for our Annual Fund and capital projects. The Ohio Bobcat Club GA is beneficial because it requires effective time management and it gives me the opportunity to work with other departments in the athletic department and on campus.
