Two-time Thorne Cup Champion and former Rhino Donald Alchin will join the UTEP Miner Hockey Club’s roster for the 2019-20 season!

Listed as a defenseman, the Michigan native also played several games as a forward throughout his two seasons with the Rhinos. In his first season in El Paso, he posted 38 points in 56 regular season and playoff games. One of only five returners his second year, he helped lead the team to its second championship in as many years while also posting a career high of 60 points in 51 games.

He will join several former Rhinos including Austin Simpson, Jake Kopinski, Jayden Ritchie, Quincy Childress, Carlo Wittor and Angus Campbell in orange and blue this season as they look to secure back to back Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference championships.
