The Rhinos, with the help of the best fans in junior hockey, set a new organization record for their annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser!
After Saturday's game, the team, including the coaching and training staff, stick boys, and other Rhino members, shaved their heads for the eighth straight year to raise money for childhood cancer research. Through the bidding and online donations, the El Paso Rhinos raised over $11,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Of the 53 shavees, Bobby Cano raised $1555 and earned the “Top Earner” award. Rhino Head Coach Cory Herman and UTEP Head Coach Tom Herman rounded out the top three earners. You can still donate online at https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/10992/2018.
We cannot thank Rhino Country enough for helping us contribute to such a great cause!
