Have you ever wanted to perform the Star Spangled Banner and/or O Canada in front of thousands of fans at the Steel Yard? Each spring, the Gary SouthShore RailCats hold tryouts for individuals and groups who would like to sing the National Anthem before a RailCats home game.
The tryouts to perform the National Anthem at a RailCats 2021 season home game will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 11 am. This year, we are also accepting video submissions. Recordings can be sent at any time, but must reach us by April 15th. Please make sure the file is audio and not a DVD. We have a limited number of open spaces for this coming season, so not everyone can be guaranteed a date. If you do not get scheduled to perform, you can still choose to be on our contact list and we will reach out if there is ever an opening during the season.
