James Vailas, MD
Monarchs Medical Director
James Vailas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with The Orthopedic Center (TOC). Dr. Vailas received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and completed his residency at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the world renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. During his time in Los Angeles, Dr. Vailas worked with the L.A. Kings, the Monarchs parent club.
Dr. Vailas specializes in sports medicine and in addition to overseeing medical care for the Monarchs, he also is involved in medical care with many local varsity and university level sports teams.
The physicians of The Orthopedic Center with offices in Nashua, Londonderry, Milford and Manchester provide quality, comprehensive orthopedic care. TOC specializes in surgical and non-surgical treatment of the spine, hand, shoulder and upper extremity, hip and knee including reconstruction in total joint replacement, foot and ankle, trauma and fracture care, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics.
