KINGS RECALL ANDY ANDREOFF FROM CONDITIONING ASSIGNMENT
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Andy Andreoff from his conditioning assignment with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Andreoff played in seven games with Manchester, totaling 10 points (5-5=10) with a plus-8 rating and 11 penalty minutes. He recorded the first hat-trick of his professional career while setting a career-high in points with four (3-1=4), Dec. 17 vs. Portland.
The 6-1, 206-pound native of Pickering, Ontario has appeared in eight career NHL games (all this season) with the Kings, going scoreless with 12 penalty minutes. He appeared in his first-career NHL game on Oct. 14 vs. Edmonton.
Selected in the third-round (80th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Andreoff has appeared in 157 career games with Manchester (AHL), collecting 72 points (30-42=72), a plus-14 rating and 259 penalty minutes. He was one of only two players to appear in all 76 regular-season games in 2013-14 with Manchester.
