The party in the back has taken over the business in the front as the team will once again celebrate hockey hair while raising funds and awareness for men’s health when they host the fourth annual Mullets In Movember.  Throughout the month of November, the Monarchs staff, coaches, and players will sport moustaches in support of men’s cancer awareness month and will celebrate with Mullets In Movember on Saturday, November 15.  Proceeds from this season’s Mullets In Movember will benefit the Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Movember Foundation.  The first 3,000 fans to the game will receive mullet wigs and moustaches, courtesy of Norris Cotton Cancer Center.

The Monarchs fifth annual Education Day will once again turn the Verizon Wireless Arena into the largest classroom in the Granite State on Wednesday, November 19.  The previous four Education Day games have seen over 12,500 students from 97 area schools fill the stands.  Each student attending the game will receive a workbook which will provide educational insight on the different aspects of the hockey game being played out in front of them.  Throughout the concourse of the arena, students will be treated to a variety of interactive exhibits focused on health and wellness, geography, arithmetic, reading, and science.  Additionally, the in-game promotions on the video board will include quizzes and trivia geared specifically toward the students.

Monarchs fans can ring in the new year with the team’s traditional New Year’s Eve Celebration, presented by Manchester Subaru.  The celebration features the largest indoor fireworks show in New England following the game on Wednesday, December 31.  The first 7,000 fans to the game will receive glow sticks, courtesy of Manchester Subaru.

Manchester will celebrate the Kings second Stanley Cup Championship in three seasons with their third annual Los Angeles Kings Night on Saturday, January 17.  The Kings skated to their second championship in franchise history with 13 former Monarchs players, including game-winning goal scorer Alec Martinez.  Los Angeles Kings Night will feature all things Kings with an opening video from the Monarchs parent club, the goal horn that echoes throughout STAPLES Center, and specialty Kings-inspired jerseys that will be auctioned off at the game with proceeds benefiting the Monarchs Care Foundation.

The fifth annual Pink In The Rink, presented by Catholic Medical Center, will feature pink ice and specialty pink jerseys that will be auctioned off both during the game in a silent auction and post-game in a live auction on Saturday, February 7.  Donations for the cause will be made from ticket sales, silent and live auctions items, and a portion of sales from the Monarchs Pro Shop that evening.  The donations will benefit the Breast Care Center at Catholic Medical Center, and the Monarchs Care Foundation.

The community will come out to honor the police, fire, military, and paramedics that protect and serve the city of Manchester, the state of New Hampshire, and the great country we live in at the annual American Pride Night on Saturday, March 7.
