THE VIEW FROM THE TOP

Manchester enters tonight’s game atop the league with 119 goals scored through 30 games. Of the 119 goals, 86 of them have been scored on the road, making up for 73% of the Monarchs goals this season. The Kansas City Mavericks have scored the second most goals on the road, having scored 61, which makes up for 58% of their goals on the season.

NO COAL FOR CHRISTMAS

The Monarchs look to close out a hot month of December this week after posting an 8-2-0-0 record through the first ten games. Manchester has outscored opponents, 46-25, this month, including scoring five or more goals six times in those ten games. Heading into the holiday break, Manchester won four straight games and averaged 5.75 goals per game.

STRUGGLING AGAINST THE DIVISION

Adirondack enters the night as the only team in the North Division with a losing record against divisional opponents, going 8-10-1-1 thus far. Last season, the Thunder recorded 25 divisional wins, on their way to posting a 25-13-4-2 record against the North. The Monarchs on the other hand have secured a 9-6-0-1 record against the North Division this year.
