WILD SUMMONS HAULA, ASSIGNS ZUCKERWILD SUMMONS HAULA, ASSIGNS ZUCKER Forwards Trade Spots Between Affiliates Des Moines, IA – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Friday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Erik Haula (pronounced HOW-la) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and reassigned forward Jason Zucker (pronounced ZOOK-ER) to Iowa. Haula, 22 (3/23/91), has tallied 14 points (7-7=14) in 20 games with Iowa this season. He ranks tied for first on the team in scoring and power-play goals with four, is tied for second in goals and tied for third in assists. Haula recorded three points (2-1=3) and a plus-4 rating in Iowa's 4-2 win at Abbotsford last night. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound native of Pori, Finland, recorded an assist in his NHL debut on Nov. 29 vs. Colorado and owns two assists in six games with Minnesota this season. Haula was selected by the Wild in the seventh round (182nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Zucker, 21 (1/16/92), was recalled on Dec. 10 and appeared in Wednesday's game at Anaheim. He has registered 18 shots in seven games with Minnesota this season and owns seven points (4-3=7) in 33 career NHL games with the Wild. Zucker has tallied 12 points (7-5=12) and 49 penalty minutes (PIM) in 16 games with Iowa this season. The 5-foot-11, 186-pound forward was born in Newport Beach, Calif., and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Iowa returns home on Sunday, Dec. 15 to host Rockford at 4:05 p.m. For Sunday’s game, the team will hold its first Teddy Bear Toss, where fans are encouraged to throw a stuffed animal on the ice for charity. Fans will be permitted to through Teddy Bears on the ice after the Wild score its first goal of the night. Fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for the game, which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and Subway coupons starting at $44. The game marks the beginning of a six-game homestand for the Wild. Grand Rapids visits on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:05 p.m. Hamilton will visit on Friday, Dec. 20 and San Antonio on Saturday, Dec. 21.
