9/3/11- September 3rd marks the date that Orlando City beat Harrisburg in the USL PRO Championship, giving the Lions their first league title in franchise history. The Lions defeated the City Islanders 3-2 on penalty kicks, with Devorn Jorsling notching the game winner. 1- This is the first time the two clubs have met since the 2011 Championship. So far in 2012, Harrisburg holds a 4-2-4 record with 16 points while Orlando is in the top spot of the USL with a record of 9-1-2 and 29 points. 3- Number of matches Harrisburg City has played and won in this years U.S. Open Cup. The Islanders defeated Long Island 2-0 in the second round while topping Major League Soccers New England Revolution in a thrilling penalty shootout in the third. Harrisburg dominated the New York Red Bulls in the fourth round with a 3-1 win to earn a spot in the quarterfinals. 5- Kevin Molino is atop USL PROs assist leaders with five so far in 2012. Two of Harrisburgs players, Jason Pelletier and Sainey Touray, are ranked numbers two and three. Pelletier stands alone in second with four while Touray is tied with four others with three. 3- Orlando City Forward Matt Luzunaris has scored in three of his four appearances for Orlando City in 2012. Luzunaris was recently on ESPNs SportsNation for his breakdance after his goal last week against Antigua. 4- Orlandos last match against Antigua was Goalkeeper Miguel Gallardos fourth shutout of this season. Gallardo has only allowed two or more goals twice this season, once against the Wilmington Hammerheads on June 2 and the other against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on May 5.
