18-year-old Midfielder signed for the remainder of the 2014 USL PRO season

Orlando, Fla.- Orlando City SC announced today that the Club has signed Harrison Heath for the remainder of the 2014 USL PRO season. The signing marks the 18-year-old’s first-ever professional contract.

Heath will be available for selection in tonight’s league match against Sacramento Republic F.C., as OCSC aims to maintain its unbeaten run in USL PRO. Kick-off is set for 10:30 p.m. EST.

Despite joining the squad in the latter part of the season, Heath already obtains familiarity with the Orlando City SC playing system and organization, as the English midfielder is the son of Lions’ Head Coach Adrian Heath.

Prior to joining Orlando City SC, Heath spent the previous two seasons playing in the Norwich City FC Academy, primarily for their U18 side. Norwich City made a return to the English Premier League in 2011, after battling to ascend back to the top-flight for six seasons. The Canaries were relegated back to the Championship division this season, however, after finishing in 18th place with 33 points.
