Check out some key numbers behind the I-4 Derby 

Orlando City SC is set to welcome the Tampa Bay Rowdies to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Wednesday evening, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. for the first leg of the second annual I-4 Derby.

Below, OrlandoCitySC.com gives you a brief run-down of the newly looked Rowdies as well as key statistics between the two clubs.

Fast Facts:

• Ricky Hill enters his fourth year with his club, but brings his squad to Orlando winless in the 2014 season as well as against the Lions, who defeated the Rowdies the on three occasions in 2013.

• Tampa Bay’s key departure comes in the form of NASL Best XI Midfielder Luke Mulholland, who is now starting for Real Salt Lake. Last season, Mulholland was second on the team in goals while leading the league in assists.

• A key addition the Rowdies brought in during the off-season was Forward Brian Shriver to pair up top with Georgi Hristov. Shriver led the NASL in goals last year with 15 and Hristov notched 12.

• The second leg of the I-4 Derby will take place at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fl. on July 6. Depending on the result of Wednesday’s game, the away leg in Tampa could prove to be a crucial match.


Notable Numbers:

3-0-0– Heading into Wednesday’s match against the Rowdies, the Lions have three consecutive victories over their I-4 rivals while outscoring the club from St. Petersburg 8-4.

51 – Through six games, Miguel Gallardo leads USL PRO in shots faced with 51, but has been relatively kept out of harms way since opponents shots are only on target 37% of the time.

12 – The Rowdies squad features 12 new players who have not yet taken part in the I-4 Derby.

0 – The number of losses or points OCSC has dropped this season, the only club in league who has yet to lose this season.
