The Senegalese winger was the first promotion from the youth program to the pro squad in the club’s short history. Mbengue began the 2012 season with the U23s and, after an impressive stint, was called up to the first team by Coach Heath. The pacy midfielder made significant contributions and appeared in 11 games for the Lions during his debut season.

Scouted by the organization at the age of 15, Adama came over to the U.S. during the 2011 season on trial from the Kedougou Academy in Senegal. He has already been called up for Senegal’s U23 team.
