The El Salvador National Team captain Darwin Ceren was the third Major League Soccer (MLS) signing for Orlando City. The 24 year old joined the national team in May 2013 and earned himself 16 caps during his time with the team.

Before his time with the national team, Ceren helped boost his club team, Juventud Independiente, out of the second division and into the nation’s premier league. While with his club team, Ceren made 83 total appearances and recorded 15 goals as a defensive midfielder.
