The Cane Cutters Announce Postseason Award Selections

The TCL postseason awards were announced with the Cane Cutters having 3 players selected to the All-TCL Team.  Making the team were:  Lee Amedee (second base), Logan Hamm (pitcher), Peyton Havard (pitcher).

Lee Amedee, a sophomore from Gonzales, Louisiana, led the TCL in hitting.  He hit .356 with 42 hits, 9 doubles, 2 triples, 20 runs batted in, scoring 25 runs, 24 walks and 3 stolen bases.  He was awarded ALL-TCL at second base.  Amedee will return to the University of Louisiana in the fall.

Logan Hamm, a junior from Bridge City, Texas, appeared in 12 games all in relief.  He pitched in 14.2 innings with a 1.22 Earned Run Average, 20 Strikeouts and 8 Base on Balls.  Hamm was awarded ALL-TCL as a pitcher.  Hamm will be playing for Lamar University in the fall.

Peyton Havard, a junior from Bridge City, Texas, appeared in 12 games, starting 6 games.  He pitched in 29.1 innings with a 2.14 Earned Run Average, 19 Strikeouts and 5 Base on Balls.  Havard was awarded All-TCL as a pitcher.  Havard will be playing for Lamar University in the fall.
