Recap of 2011 NSFWith tremendous gratitude to the 2011 NSF hosts, sponsors, and partners, the 16th National Sports Forum in Louisville, KY was a huge success. As the Forum grows and the family becomes larger, there are many memories to share and new relationships to be pursued in the months to come. Here is a recap of the events:
Saturday
The 5th annual Case Cup Competition kicked off on Saturday with six out of nine schools returning from the 2010 competition, along with the addition of three expansion schools: Canisius College, University of Louisville, and University of South Carolina. The returning schools were: Ohio University, Texas A&M University, University of Central Florida, University of Oregon, University of Memphis, and defending champion George Washington University.
Sunday
This year we went offsite for the Stand Alone Meetings, as the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory was kind enough to host our MLB, MiLB, NFL, NHL, College and Motorsports Stand Alone Day Meetings.
Additionally, the Case Cup Competition finalists presented their cases to the following panel of judges: Andy Dolich, Dolich & Associates; Jeanie Kahnke, Muhammad Ali Center; Todd Koesters, Louisville Sports Commission; Abe Madkour, Sports Business Journal / Sports Business Daily; Karl Schmitt, Louisville Sports Commission; Jonathan Sprinkles, Sprinklisms Inc.; Mark Tudi, SPORTSEARCH; and Brian Winslow, Muhammad Ali Center.
