The San Antonio Spurs won the 2013 NSF ADchievement Award in the Television category. Click the video above to see their submission.
Dear Faithful Readers,
Over the course of the next month, my office tends to look more like a mail room than a proper place to have a meeting. The reason being that it's officially “awards season” at the NSF. Up until November 30th, we’ll receive a few hundred entries to the NSF ADchievement Awards, which acknowledge the most creative sports-based advertising of the year. The packages fill every corner with examples of commercials, season ticket packages, and even Jeff Fischer mustaches (see below).
Because the sports industry is so engrained into our culture, teams and agencies have the opportunity to be especially imaginative with their advertising. Having an audience and fans that are already willing to wear the t-shirts, watch the in-game videos and interact via social media allows the advertisers to focus on the creativity in their message. All of this makes for some outstanding results.
If you believe your advertising is the best in the industry then continue reading to find out how you can put a spotlight on your efforts at the 2014 National Sports Forum in Dallas, TX!
Enjoy the feature,
Erin Mooney

OBJECTIVES
To showcase the best sports-themed advertising campaigns of 2013
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Entering the 11th year, the 2014 NSF ADchievement Awards will be presented February 11, 2014, at the National Sports Forum in Dallas, TX. This is your chance to pit your organization's advertising against the best and most effective in the sports industry - giving you the potential to "take a bow" in front of the entire industry, and be recognized as the leader in our business!
The NSF ADchievement Awards highlight the year's best sports-themed advertising campaigns in North America. Campaigns can be submitted in any of the eight categories below. Finalists and winners in each category will be determined by a preliminary judging panel consisting of independent advertising experts.
In addition to the eight categories, the prestigious NSF ADchievement Overall Award of Excellence will be presented to the sports property with the best cumulative advertising. The judging will determine the winner prior to the conference using the total score of each organization's top six individual categories. A representative from the organization that wins the Overall Award of Excellence will be brought out (all expenses paid) to the 2014 National Sports Forum in Dallas to receive the award live, in front of the entire industry! The more categories you enter, the better chance you'll have at receiving the Overall Award of Excellence.
