On Saturday, August 3, the Bravehearts* will host a doubleheader against the Westfield Starfires. One ticket gets you entry to both games. The first game will start at 4:30pm. The first 500 fans will receive FREE tee shirts honoring Worcester's Firefighters. Prior to the start of the second game, skydivers will descend on the field at 6:45pm with the game ball for Game 2. Both games will be only 7 innings.
For Game 2, the Bravehearts players will wear specialty jerseys in honor of Worcester's Firefighters and particularly the 8 heroes who have fallen in the line of duty since 1999, 20 years ago. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game and the auction will automatically end at 9pm on August 3. You may bid remotely through the Bidding Owl website at www.BiddingOwl.com/Bravehearts or in person at the games on Saturday.
Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Ava Roy Fund. The Bravehearts have already raised and donated over $20,000 to the Ava Roy Fund since last December. To learn more about the Ava Roy Fund, please click here.

*The "Bravehearts" name was chosen in 2013 from a pool of over 1,000 suggestions submitted by the people of the Worcester community. The “Brave” element of our name is in honor of Worcester’s brave men and women in uniform serving locally and abroad, as well as a tribute to Worcester’s fallen firefighters. The “Hearts” element refers to Worcester’s nickname—“Heart of the Commonwealth.”
