RailCats and Saints washed out

ST. PAUL, Minn. The Gary SouthShore RailCats (0-2) and St. Paul Saints (2-0) were postponed on Saturday evening due to rain. The two teams will wrap up their four-game series with a doubleheader (two seven-inning games) on Sunday, May 21. Game one will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by game two approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Southpaw Jeff McKenzie (0-0, 0.00) will start game one for Gary and RHP Conrad Wozniak (0-0, 0.00) will follow in game two. St. Paul is expected to start RHP John Straka (0-0, 0.00) in game one and RHP Jason Creasy (0-0, 0.00) is expected to follow in game two.

Gary’s home opener is on Friday, May 26 vs. the Texas Airhogs. Friday’s game vs. the Airhogs is a Fifth Third Bank Fireworks Friday and features a free magnet schedule giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, courtesy of Great Lakes Orthopedics.
