Biography:

2020

During the shortened 2020 season, Walraven briefly signed with the Winnepeg Goldeyes, but was only there for one day and never recorded an at bat. 

2019

Walraven signed his first professional baseball contract with Gary on Oct. 30 following his redshirt-senior season at the University of New Haven. During his first year of pro ball, the Cornwall, NY native delivered a .300 batting average, ranking him first among returning players, along with a .409 on base percentage while slugging .438 in 245 plate appearances. Walraven recorded 61 hits, 16 of which resulted in extra bases, and crossed the plate 35 times.  He belted a career-high six home runs and additionally reached career marks with 31 RBI and 35 walks.

Won the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove after posting a .974 fielding percentage and setting a single-season school record with 155 assists
