Chris Weidman

Chris Weidman, born and raised on Long Island, is the former UFC Middleweight Champion. Born in Baldwin, the 32-year-old has a 14-3 career fighting record.
A two-time Division 1 All-American wrestler at Hofstra University, Weidman began his professional mixed martial arts career at 13-0 before losing his belt at UFC 194 to Luke Rockhold.

With impressive victories over Victor Belfort (UFC 187), Lyoto Machida (UFC 175) and two against Anderson Silva, ( UFC 162 and 168) Weidman has become one of the best mixed martial arts fighters in the world.

Fighting out of Team Serra-Longo in Garden City, NY, Weidman is currently ranked #4 in the middleweight class. 

Weidman lost to Gegard Mousasi via TKO at UFC 210 in Buffalo. 

In his last fight on July 22, Weidman beat Kelvin Gastelum via arm triangle choke in the third round to snap a three-fight losing streak.
