The U.S. Center for SafeSport has trained over 500,000 individuals in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements and is now partnering with the USASF as part of a mission to make athlete well-being the centerpiece of our nation's sports culture through abuse prevention, education and accountability.

Effective August 1, 2019 for the 2019-2020 season, all owners, coaches and personnel members will be required to to complete the U.S. Center for SafeSportTM Trained online course to be considered an Eligible Member of the U.S. All Star Federation. This is in addition to the current eligibility requirements.

The SafeSport™ Trained online course is the best-in-class course specifically developed to address sexual misconduct and physical and emotional abuse in a sports environment.

This 90-minute course for coaches, team volunteers, administrators, support team and staff include 3 modules providing an in-depth foundation in abuse awareness and prevention:

  • Mandatory Reporting: Understanding Your Responsibilities
  • Sexual Misconduct Awareness Education
  • Emotional and Physical Misconduct

Your program will learn how to identify, prevent and respond to issues of misconduct and abuse and what to do if they do occur.

The cost of the course is $20 and will be good for 2 seasons. Early access to the online course will be available to all USASF members mid-February. Coaches who complete the
training prior to attending USASF National Meeting will receive a registration rebate of $20.
