Dan Kowitz

Dan has responsibility for leveraging the resources of IEG’s Client Solutions, Sponsorship Consulting, Valuation and Research Services departments to best meet the needs of clients seeking IEG’s trusted counsel, unparalleled insights and ahead-of-the-curve information.
 
In addition to overseeing Client Solutions and the work of IEG’s consultants, valuation analysts and researchers, his role places Kowitz on the company’s executive committee. Dan also plays a leading role in driving success for IEG clients. He brings an array of sponsorship experience—as both a successful seller and savvy sponsor—to delivering relevant, cutting-edge strategies to a diverse array of clients.
 
His clients have included America’s Cup, Association of National Advertisers, Boy Scouts of America, Children’s Hospital Boston, Calgary Stampede, Cirque du Soleil, Detroit Red Wings, Direct Energy, Consumer Electronics Association, PIER 39, Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Smithsonian Institution, US Soccer, and Vancouver Canucks to name a few.
 
Prior to joining IEG, Dan was director of sponsorship for the American Bar Association. He previously held a similar position with the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
 
Dan was an employee of the State of California, reporting to the Secretary of State in 1998.  He was responsible for managing a seven figure sponsorship by Mervyn’s California (a division of Target) surrounding the States Sesquicentennial.
 
He also spent five years as a Manager of Corporate Sponsorship for Ameritech in Chicago, where he worked with properties such as the NFL, NHL, MLB, WTA and the Senior PGA Tour.
