Christina Wright

Asst. Dir. of Human Resources
NCAA



Christina Wright serves as assistant director of human resources at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). In this capacity, her focus areas include staff learning and development, performance management, corporate culture strategy and initiatives, and risk management. She graduated from the Sports Management Institute in January 2014, where her project focused on conference realignment analytics of the Big Ten Conference. Christina chairs the National Sports Forum’s Business of Diversity in Sports and Entertainment committee and is a former member of the NACWAA Foundation Fund committee.
 
Prior to returning to the NCAA in May 2010, Christina completed dual MBA/MSA degree program at Ohio University, where she currently serves as a member of the alumni advisory board and adjunct faculty. She has held a variety of internships and graduate assistantships, including positions at American University, NASPA, the NCAA, the Appalachian Regional Entrepreneurship Group and The Ohio State University. A former track and field student-athlete and president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Christina earned her undergraduate degree in public communications at The American University, where she excelled both on and off the field.
