Tom will be joining the Rosemont Entertainment Group LLC as its Senior Vice President of Business Operations and very first employee. This group will be introducing a new minor league franchise to the Chicago land marketplace in 2018. A 1990 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a minor in Economics, he also was a member of the Redbird Baseball team. He currently stays connected to the University as Advisory Board member to the Department of Communications and was recently inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame in the College of Arts and Science at Illinois State University.

In 1991, Tom began his sports career as a summer sales intern with the Chicago Bulls were he sold advertising space in the official game program of the team. At the conclusion of this internship, Tom took a telemarketing position with the Chicago White Sox organization. He sold season, group and party area tickets. Here is where he learned the “art of the sale”, hearing "NO" 50 times a day and continuing to call until you get that 1 “YES”.

In 1992, Tom was offered a full time position with the White Sox as an account executive and serviced over 1,200 season and group accounts until he left in 1995 to take a position at Elite Marketing. He gained valuable sponsorship sales experience, working as the Manager of Sports Marketing and Sales for the company. He sold local sports programs for professional Chicago sports teams and managed the Chicago Tribune Press Pass promotion, which was one of the longest running renewal programs in their history.

In 1997, Tom took the Director of Marketing and Advertising position at Balmoral Park Racetrack. His responsibilities included all sales, marketing, special events and advertising planning and facilitation as it pertained to the live racing season. Additionally, he was involved in cross-marketing with Intertrack Partners (chain of 14 satellite restaurants and bars that promote racing and allow betting on local and national races).

In 1999, Tom returned to the Chicago White Sox, as their Manager of Ticket Sales, where he was responsible for the implementation of all sales strategies as they pertained to ticket sales and service. He developed and managed all ticket sales budgets and wrote the marketing plan for his department.

Since 2004, he added premium seating to his responsibilities and was elevated to the Senior Director of Ticket Sales. He has developed and overseen the creation of the Magellan Scout Seats, Home Plate Club, The Private Bank Fan Deck Warning Track and Miller Lite Bullpen Party Porch areas. Finally and most importantly, he has restructured, developed and expanded his staff into a proactive sales group specializing in distinct areas of the sales process.

Tom has been married to his wife, Mary, for 19 years and has a 16 year old daughter, Grace and 14 year old son Ryan to keep him busy in the off season.
