Biography:
2017: As a sophomore, made nine starts going 6-2 with a 2.90 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 68.1 innings pitched…tossed four complete games and one shutout, and ranked seventh in Division III in walks per nine innings (0.66) and 18th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.60)…struck out six over six innings to earn his first win of the year in a 6-2 victory against Bowdoin on March 18…carried a no-hitter into the ninth inning and settled for a one-hit shutout in an 8-0 triumph over Coast Guard on April 5…gave up three runs and fanned three in a complete-game effort to lift the Green and White to an 8-3 victory at MIT on April 15…allowed four earned runs over 7.0 innings to earn his second consecutive win in a 7-5 triumph at Springfield on April 23…recorded a career-high seven strikeouts and gave up just two runs in his third complete game of the season to help Babson sweep Wheaton with a 10-2 win in game two of the NEWMAC Tournament semifinals…fanned four and allowed three runs in 6.2 innings to record his fourth straight win as the Beavers downed MIT 14-8 to sweep the NEWMAC Tournament championship series on May 7…suffered just his second loss of the year despite allowing just three earned runs in a complete-game effort against UMass Boston in a winners’ bracket game of the NCAA Tournament Harwich Regional on May 19. 2016: As a first-year, made eight appearances, including five starts, going 3-2 with a 2.97 ERA in 39.1 innings...struck out 23 while walking just two batters and held opposing hitters to a .228 average...struck out two in an inning of relief in his collegiate debut, a 6-4 loss to Concordia (Ill.) on March 12...struck out four and allowed just four hits over 7.0 innings to earn the victory in his first collegiate start, a 10-0 win over Gallaudet...tossed three innings of perfect relief while striking out four to earn the win as Babson rallied past Coast Guard, 4-2, on March 29...tossed his first career complete game allowing three runs on seven hits and fanning three in a 3-1 loss at Wheaton on April 9...struck out three and gave up just one hit and one walk over seven innings in a 13-0 victory over Emerson on April 22...earned a no decision after giving up three earned runs in 4.2 innings as the Beavers defeated MIT, 16-13, in game three of a NEWMAC Tournament semifinal series on May 1.
