Jared Yager

The Blues welcome back Jared Yager, a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for the last 8 years, with prior experience as a Certified EMT for 4 years. Jared received his Bachelors of Science degree at Central Connecticut State University and since then has been working at Select Physical Therapy. His first placement was at Canton High School before moving to Bristol Eastern High School where he is currently the head medical staff for all of the sports teams. Besides working in one of the local schools, Jared also works closely with the local Crossfit gym, Bell City, assisting them in injury assessments and preventative medicine. Other groups include the Bristol PD/SWAT, local youth leagues, MMA fighters and other high level athletes. On top of his ATC duties, he has a passion for strength and conditioning and works with all athlete during their seasons and off seasons allowing for higher levels of performance, while decreasing the number of injuries as a whole. This season, Jared looks forward to adding the Bristol Blues to his list of organizations, along with having the support from the orthopedic team doctor and staff at Select Physical Therapy. Jared plans on keeping the Blues healthy and able to perform for the 2019 season!
