RAILCATS HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE RETURNS TO U.S. STEEL YARD FOR 15^TH SEASON

GARY, IN – The Gary SouthShore RailCats are proud to announce the return of the High School Challenge as a centerpiece of the spring baseball season in NW Indiana.

The 15^th annual High School Challenge will feature 19 games and 34 teams from Illinois and Indiana from April 3^rd through April 29^th. Teams will come from as far east as Michigan City, as far west as Romeoville, and as far south as Lafayette for this unique opportunity. 

The schedule for the 2017 High School Challenge is as follows:

Monday, April 3^rd
4:30 – Victory Christian Academy vs Westville High School
7:30 – Hobart High School vs Highland High School

Friday, April 7th
4:30 – Portage High School vs Hammond Clark High School
7:30 – Valparaiso High School vs Munster High School

Wednesday, April 12^th
4:30 – Bowman Leadership Academy vs East Chicago Central High School
7:30 – Wheeler High School vs Hebron High School

Friday, April 14^th
4:30 – Michigan City High School vs South Central High School
7:30 – Tinley Park High School vs Lowell High School

Monday, April 17^th
4:30 – Kouts High School vs Morgan Township High School
7:30 – Hammond Academy of Science and Technology vs Covenant Christian High School

Wednesday, April 19^th
4:30 – Thorton Fractional North High School vs West Side Leadership Academy

Saturday, April 22^nd
NOON – Kankakee Valley High School vs Hanover Central High School
6:00 – River Forest High School vs Lake Station High School

Monday, April 24^th
4:30 - Lafayette Central Catholic High School vs Rensselaer Central High School
