GARY, Ind. — The Gary SouthShore RailCats announced the signing of infielder Cole Fabio on Tuesday afternoon and activated left-handed pitcher Jack Fowler from the seven-day disabled list retroactive to July 11th. The RailCats also placed right-hander pitcher Marshall Pautsch on Irrevocable Waivers and traded left-handed pitcher Braulio Torres-Perez to the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League for a player to be named later.

Fabio hit .280 with two home runs, 23 RBIs, 13 doubles, 53 runs, 19 stolen bases and a team-high 43 walks as a senior in 2017 at Bryant University.
