DELIA REASSIGNED TO ROCKFORD

Rockford, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned goaltender Collin Delia from the ECHL's Indy Fuel to the Rockford IceHogs.
 
Delia, 23, has made 57 saves whiles going 0-1-1-0 through the Fuel's first two games of the season. The netminder turned away 25 of 29 shots in his pro debut at Wichita on Oct. 13 and helped kill off five penalties with 32 total saves the following night against the Thunder to earn a point in Indy's 4-3 overtime loss. Overall, Delia has posted a 3.93 GAA and 0.877 save percentage between the pipes for the Fuel.
 
Last year, the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native was named the Hockey East Goaltending Champion while also earning Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors after ranking 14th in the nation with a 2.15 goals against average and ninth with a .927 save percentage for Merrimack College. He also notched a career-high nine victories during the campaign, and was tabbed the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for January.
