Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs announced on Thursday that goaltender Collin Delia has been reassigned to the Indy Fuel (ECHL) by the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL).

Delia, 23, made 38 saves and led the Fuel to a 3-1 win during Indy’s first preseason game against the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday (Oct. 6). The netminder ended the game with a .974 save percentage and helped the Fuel kill off two power plays in his first taste of professional action.

Last year, the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native was named the Hockey East Goaltending Champion while also earning Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors after ranking 14th in the nation with a 2.15 goals against average and ninth with a .927 save percentage for Merrimack College. He also notched a career-high nine victories during the campaign, and was tabbed the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for January.
