The WISE Speed Mentoring Roundtables was one of my favorite of the events I have attended thus far. It was so refreshing to find out that my peers had the same or similar questions as myself, and that the mentors who assisted each of our tables had real, constructive advice and answers to all of our questions. I would highly recommend this event to other members!

I traveled over 100 miles to attend the Speed Mentoring Roundtable event. On my way home, I said to myself, "I'd make this trip every day for the opportunity to hold court with the women I connected with tonight." I am so glad I took the time and decided to participate.
— Adrienne Simpson, SMR Mentee NYC '14

Great way to introduce WISE Within to greater membership, share some wisdom as well as inspire more mentees and mentors.
— Lauren Gordon, SMR Mentee NYC '14

The WISE Speed Mentoring Roundtables event was intimate, insightful and inspiring. I really enjoyed being seated with my peers — at times they asked questions based on their experiences and interests that I hadn't even thought of, adding more depth to the session. I learned a lot from my peers as well as the mentors.
— Ashley Bryant, SMR Mentee DC '14

My experience as a first time mentor at the WISE Speed Mentoring event was an all-around enjoyable and educational experience. Not only did I have the rewarding opportunity to share valuable career insight and experiences with interested and eager participants, but I also received valuable advice and ideas from the mentees regarding my own ever-evolving sports and media business. Preparing for the event gave me the chance to reminisce on my own career, dig up lessons I’ve learned, mistakes I’ve made, and translate those experiences into lessons/insights I could share with others. In addition, I made some very good contacts during the evening with other mentors and mentees. I found it to be a very therapeutic and rewarding experience all around, and would definitely participate again and recommend it to other women.
— Monica Murphy Vargas, SMR Mentor CHI '14

Speed Mentoring provided me with a platform to network with my peers and mentors in the industry. I connected with individuals that have a genuine interest in my transition into the industry.
— Martrice Caldwell, SMR Mentee CHI '14

Participation in the WISE Speed Mentoring Roundtables event as a mentor was a win-win. The audience came prepared with thoughtful questions that resulted in meaningful conversation and I was able to connect with another group of intelligent leaders within the sports industry. Thank you for the opportunity!
— Scott Harding, SMR Mentor CHI '14

Networking at it's finest! A great chance to meet other professional women willing to share their experience. Best $25.00 investment I've made in a long time.
— Tamry L. McCauley, SMR Mentee LA/SD '14
