Our Animals

One of the unique experiences at Westside are our animals we exhibit daily in our Family Zone. Children and Adults alike enjoy watching our 7 Brown Tufted Capuchin monkeys climb, swing and play in their all glass enclosure. Children at our club all have their favorites. Parker our Matriarch leads the troupe with Tidwell the dominant male. Houston, Katie, and Minnie the younger monkeys, love to play and greet visitors when our handlers are present. Jack and Jill our youngest rounds out the troupe and is a joy to watch as they learn their new surroundings. This is an up close experience not found in most zoos. For your wilder side, Simba, our African Serval Cat also is on exhibit in his glass enclosure. On our clubs grounds members enjoying viewing our Black Neck Swans swimming in their pond, or relax by our Koi Pond with its beautiful water lily collection in the Summer. New to our clubs lobby is our 5000 gallon fresh water aquarium.  Westside's animals are used for viewing enjoyment of our members as well as for education of our young people during Summer Camps and school outings. Although all of our animals are captive bred, Westside encourages people of all ages to educate themselves on our wildlife and the conservation needed to maintain animals in the wild for generations to come.
